LAND (Land stewards AND artists), was a collaboration between artists, programmers/curators, producers, land stewards and environmental organisations and the rural landscapes of the partner organisations. Science and the heritage were examined through the medium of art while taking account of major environmental issues that impact our landscapes.
Sense of Unity is a flexible 40 to 60-minute dusk or night-time parade show bringing together two of Europe’s most in-demand outdoor arts companies: southern Germany’s Dundu and the north of England’s Worldbeaters.
The Green Carpet was a ‘laboratory’, where the artist and community were involved in co-creation, with the environment and sustainability in mind.
Fifty years on from the first moon landing, Inside Out Dorset Festival (which Activate produce) joined forces with b-side festival and Bournemouth Arts by the Sea to present Dorset Moon. The centrepiece to Dorset Moon events was Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon, an astounding seven metre diameter spherical sculpture on which each centimetre represents five kilometres of the moon surface.
